Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you nominate (other than the carrier), receive the books. If you order several books that arrive separately, the period ends 14 days after you receive the last one.

To cancel, tell us clearly that you wish to do so, by email to james.durney@yahoo.ie, by phone on +353 85 1443998, or by post. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you don't have to. It is enough that you send your notice before the 14 days are up.

Returning your books

Please send the books back to us without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. We will confirm the return address when you contact us. You are responsible for the cost of returning the books. We recommend using a tracked or registered service, as we cannot refund books that do not reach us.

Books should be returned in the condition you received them. You may be liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to examine them, as you would in a bookshop.

Your refund

We will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of the day we are told of your cancellation. We may hold back the refund until we have received the books back, or you have shown proof of sending them, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made to your original payment method, and you will not be charged any fee for the refund.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect books

If a book arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 30 days of receipt at james.durney@yahoo.ie, ideally with a photo. We will send a replacement or give you a full refund, including postage both ways. This does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
